Beloved wife of the late Allan Tait.
Loving mother of Mary-Margaret Webster (Clarke) of Ottawa, Judy Tait of Perth, Lynnie Tait of Napanee and Jimmy Tait of Vancouver, BC.
Cherished grandmother of Erin Montag (Keith), Harry Webster (LeeAnne), Kristy Angel (Chris), Shannon Patte (Mike), Andrew Webster (Lindsay) Emily Webster Mason (Richard), Rob Tait (Kori) and Graeme Webster (Toni) and great-grandmother of twelve great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents James and Mary (née Winters) Fagan, by her brother Wilfred and by her sisters Irene Dumais, Madeleine Bongard and Mary Lister.
Norah dedicated 25 years with Meals on Wheels and with the Canadian Cancer Society. She was also a 65+ year Member of the Catholic Women’s League and an active Member and Eucharistic Minister at St. Columbans Parish and 10 years with Palliative Care in the Cornwall area.
Special thanks to the staff and volunteers of the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in Kanata for their outstanding care and support. Thank you especially to Dr. Katerina Spacek and her partners in Palliative Care.
Arrangements entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (932-8482). As per Norah’s request, there will be no visitation. Funeral Friday, March 2, 2018 for Mass of Christian Funeral in St. Columbans Church at 10:30 am followed by cremation. Members of the C.W.L. will provide the St. Columbans Honour Guard for Norah.
As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to Hospice Care Ottawa or Patrons of St. Columbans Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
