Loving father of Jeff (Sonia) Prieur of Curran, Steven Prieur of Alexandria and Jennifer (Michael) de Greef of Stittsville and their mother Claire (Michel) Rivette of Cornwall.
Treasured grandfather of Mikhaela, Kyle, Zachary, Brianna, Cassadee and Spencer and great-grandfather of Delilah.
Michael will be greatly missed by his brothers Russell, Paul, Frank, Arthur, and Jamie along with his many cousins, in-laws and his countless friends.
Predeceased by his parents Albert and Marie Berthe (née Poitevin) Prieur and his sister Louise and his brother David.
Michael was best known for his hard work and dedication to Mac’s Marina over the last 50 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed nature with all its beauty, while hunting and fishing.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. All who knew him are welcome to join in the celebration.
As an expression of sympathy, donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by the family.
