Much loved husband and father, Michael Catto, passed away August 7, 2023 at the Cornwall Community Hospital. He is predeceased by his parents Elsie (née Craig) and Rhod Catto. He was a best friend and unwavering support to his wife, Vickie (née Bourgon) and an inspiration to his daughter, Joy. He loved spending time with the family’s beloved dog, Echo. Remembered by family and friends, especially by his childhood friend Rob Triebe and close friend Alan Pescatore, along with many others who shared Mike’s love of tabletop games. Mike loved his Dungeons and Dragons, cards and board games, and movie nights with plenty of popcorn and chocolate. A lover of pineapple, he had to have his pineapple and ham pizza as well. But most of all Mike loved his sports, the band Rush, and quiet times at home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
