Loving wife of the late Jean Guy Geneau; cherished mother to Anna Marie Quesnel (Gerry), Laura Lee Landriault (Roland), Mary Ellen Dicaire, Rick Wiseman (Tammy), Hope Katsanis (Emmanuel), and Charlie Wiseman. She will be dearly missed by her 14 grandchildren, her 21 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Merla is predeceased by her parents Charles and Bessie (née Baxter) Flegg; her brothers Leigh (Myrtle), Sterling (Shirley), William (late Clara), Ray (late Mary), Albert and Wayne Flegg; her sisters Minnie Henderson (late Fred), Jean Larmour (late Alvy), Leila Helmer (late Harlen), Norma McMillan (late Keith), Grace Hess (late Carl), Doris Wylie (late Walter), Edna Casselman (late Bob) and Fern Thompson (late Bill).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Merla’s honour to the Heart and Stroke foundation as well as Diabetes Canada.
As per Merla’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN WEST BRANCH AT 20 SEVENTH STREET W. A service of remembrance will be held at 11:00AM on TUESDAY MAY 16TH, 2023 at ST ANDREW’S CATHOLIC CHURCH 17298 COUNTY RD 18, ST ANDREWS WEST followed by interment at ST ANDREW’S CEMETERY.
