So sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. Although I didn’t know her personally I would see her on her walks and we would share a few pleasant comments about the weather or the day. She brightened my day. May she Rest In Peace.

Our Deepest Condolences to all...Although it is difficut to see beyond your sorrow today, and in the days ahead,  we know your hearts will ache for the loss of Mary for just one more day and one more tomorrow. Mary was one of a kind , the kindest and most gentle person and an amazing friend we ever knew as well as her precious Mother Irene. In the days, weeks, months ahead always remember your family & friends are your pillars of support and strenght in your hardest days. May the Blessing of the Lord and his Love be upon you. May her memories illuminate your heart and mind. Death leaves a heartache that nothing can heal but her memories are the one thing left that death cannot steal. From a former co-worker of Mary,.          Dear Mr. Rivette, Kevin, Jayson and Family, No words can express the deep loss of a wife  and mother for which I am so sorry.  Mary welcomed me on staff at MacDonell  Memorial Hospital in '68 and '69 with a smile that she imprinted on me with her warmth and support. I was a high school student and she was my mentor. She always chatted with me and was helpful when I would ask a question. When I last saw Mary it was on Canada Day at Lost Villages, Long Sault, and Kevin dedicated a song to her with praise, love and admiration . The joy and pride in her eyes for this public gesture, was so evident . And even though she was shy ,she got up and danced with you, Mr. Rivette. You held her so tenderly and lovingly and everyone felt the love between the both of you and we could see how much you treasured your precious Mary.  My parents knew you Mr. Rivette when you were little and we the Schell's grew up with you when we all  lived  on Adolphus St. in the late 40's and early  50's. Afterwards we  would always cross paths with you or other family members. And so we  feel your pain and remember the incredible woman that Mary was. You were blessed to have her as a wife and mother. I send you my sincerest sympathies and condolences from Anny Schell and my Brother Johnny .

There is no one in the world like  your Mother and my prayers are holding you close to my  heart. She is the first who loved you and will always be treasured. Your love for her shines forth as I remember your Mother last Canada Day at Lost Villages when you said "I'm dedicating a song to the love of my life, the person I loved first, my Mother, and then your Father danced with her. Heaven definitely gained an angel! I was a colleague of Mary many years ago at the old "Mac", then the JMP.  Mary was a kindhearted lady,  loved her family fiercely and was the BEST co-worker and friend ❤️  RIP Mary
