LÉGER, Marcel Joseph Sr. – passed away peacefully at Cornwall Hospice surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 20, 2014. Marcel Léger of Cornwall; age 78. Beloved husband of 59 years to Rita (Martin) Léger. Dear father of, Andre Léger (Dominique) and Anne Gravelle (Marcel) both of Cornwall. Predeceased by son Marcel Léger Jr. Cherished grandfather of five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Dear son of the late Leo Léger and the late Aurore (Houle) Léger. Survived by siblings, Donald Léger (Jeannine), Conrad Léger (Lucie), Roméo Léger (Lise), Nicole Laflèche (Gaetan), Raymond Léger (Sheila), and Édouard Léger. Predeceased by brother Claude Léger, and sisters; Pauline Bouchard, Thérèse Léger and an infant sister. Cremation has taken place. The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East, (613-933-2841) from 9 a.m Wednesday until the time of service. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 24 at 11 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery, Niche.
