Lucien Adélard Brisson

BRISSON, Lucien - At the Cornwall Community Hospital with his family by his side on Friday June 22, 2018. He was 86. He leaves his loving wife of almost 65 years, Thérèse (Mayer) Brisson. Dear father of Diane Brisson, Michel Brisson (Kim), Monique Roy (Robert), Lucie Belair (Michel) and Julie Brisson. Cherished grandfather of Mathieu, Philippe, Richard, Sylvie, Mélissa, Alain, Mélanie, Josée and Daniel and great-grandfather of Aden and Adélia. Survived by his brother Wilfred Brisson (late Thérèse and the late Laurie) and sisters Anita Quesnel (Jean-Marc) and Jeannine Loiselle (Fernand). Predeceased by his parents, Adélard and Mélina (Gingras) Brisson, 1 brother, Rhéal Brisson (late Anita) and 3 sisters, Jeanne Morin (late Léonard), Solange Caza (late Alphérie) and Laurette Samson (late Adrien). Family and friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Thursday from 3 – 5pm and 7 – 9pm and Friday from 9:30-10:30am. Funeral Mass on Friday June 29, 2018 at 11 am at St. Felix de Valois Catholic Church, 620 Glengarry Blvd. Rite of Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.
