My sincere condolances to the Tapp family. I worked Len many years with the City and you couldn't ask for a nicer person, I have never heard a bad word said against him.  I am happy to call him a friend and always enjoyed our talks. He was one of our best taken too soon.
I hope he had time to enjoy the cottage he often spoke of.  I wasn't able to attend the services but my thoughts are with you.

Condolences to the family, may he rest in peace.  He was a childhood friend, we both group up in "Little Burgundy".  

My deepest condolences and sympathies go out to the family, friends, and coworkers who had the pleasure of working with Len.    Len hired me as a bus operator five years ago.   He also gave me my first shot as a temporary supervisor with Cornwall Transit.    I had the honor of working and reporting to Len for his last year up until his retirement.   With anyone you work with daily, it is pretty easy to find what topics of conversation someone is extremely passionate about at any time.  At Transit, you can bring up hockey or hunting, and conversations could last for hours.    For Len, talking about his children and his grandchildren especially sparked any conversation he could discuss for hours.   Until the day of his retirement, I had no idea who his favorite hockey team was to follow.   Our conversations were about what my kids were up to and the love and pride in which he talked about his grandkids.    He even told me that his retirement plans involved spending as much time as possible with  his grandchildren.   It was definitely apparent every day that his priorities were spending time with family.   It was both sad and hard to hear that he did not get all the time he planned to watch his grandkids growing up.    I hope one day someone reads this to them so they know how proud Len was of his family.

I am blessed to say that I had the opportunity to have grown up with Leonard.  Will aways remember the fun we had growing up , from our days in Belmont School, through to James Lyng. 
The countless hours of playing sports together, just hanging out and watching the world go by as we hung out at Poncho’s , Campbell Park or St. Anthony’s school yard are moments from our wonder years that I always reflect on.

First of all I want to send my deepest sympathies to Sue, Melissa, and Michael Tapp and family. I was shocked to hear the news. I knew Len was not well but I thought it was under control. I worked with Len at Cornwall Transit for 25 years. He was a driver like me, he was also our ATU Local 946 President , then he became a temporary supervisor, then he became a senior supervisor, then he got promoted to Division Manager of Cornwall Transit. He earned it all. Him and I did not always get along but when something like this happens we are all family and friends.  Just want to say to his wife Sue and family , my heart goes out to all of you and so sorry for your loss. RIP Len .

My sincere condolences to the family. We all grew up together in Little Burgandy. I remember Leonard as a gentleman and just a nice guy. So so sorry for your loss 

To Susan, Melissa and Michael and family.  Gary and I wish to express our sincere condolences in this time of sorrow.  We have known Leonard since he was a young man and loved him dearly.  He had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and make others laugh too.  On a visit to PEI, Gary taught him how to play chess which he enjoyed playing throughout his life.  We want you to know that Leonard will never be forgotten and always in our hearts.  Speak of him often and tell your family stories so that you will always remember them and pass them on to the next generation.  We wish we could be near you to give you all a big hug but we are sending those hugs to you  from Prince Edward Island.  Thinking and praying for you. Len was a dear, dear friend and consummate card player. I couldn’t count the hours we played 500 with Len and Sue. Condolences to the family. Len will be dearly missed by our entire family.
