BATES, Joan- Peacefully, with her family by her side at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site, on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Joan (Cameron) Bates of Cornwall; age 88. Beloved wife of the late Eric Bates. Cherished mother of Jeffrey (Terry) of Lunenburg, Ronald of Cornwall and Jane Antoine (Gary) of Prince Albert Saskatchewan. Loving grandmother of Amanda, Tim, Jason, Kylie and seven great grandchildren. Dear sister of Edmund Cameron ( late Patricia), Ursula Cleary (the late Jimmy) both of Cornwall, Barbara Douglas (the late Robert) of Cornwall and Elizabeth Wolf (late Clifford) of Ottawa. Dear daughter of the late Edmund Cameron and the late Irene (Cain) Cameron. Predeceased by one brother Mac Cameron (late Noreen), sisters, Kathleen Wood (late Douglas) and Helen Lepage (late Paul). Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh St. West, (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday, March 23, 2015 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Columban’s Church at 10 a.m. Cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of Funeral.
