Jeannine Burnell

Treasured mother of Wayne Burnell of Nevada, Sandra (late Tuk) Yamamoto of Edmonton, AB, Shelley Burnell (Ron Lemire) of Cornwall and Brent Burnell of Cornwall. Adored grandmother of Angella, Erin, Bill, Steven, Patty and Kristen, along with her four precious great-grandchildren.

Cherished sister of Reynald (Lorraine) Legault of Cornwall. She was loved by many nieces, nephews and treasured friends.

Predeceased by her parents Isadore and Ida (neé Gadoua) Legault and her siblings Lucien (late Germaine), Floriant (late Cecile) and (Lucille Fillion), Eugene (late Lola), Dick (Liz), and Jacqueline (late Rene) Davidson and grandson Johnathan Burrell.

Jeannine was a proud and dedicated lifetime Ladies Auxiliary Member Royal Canadian Legion Branch 297. She also enjoyed spending time with her dart team and an avid card player. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and solving Sudoku puzzles.

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 3, 2022, at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Monday July 4, 2022 from 9 am until time of service. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday July 4, 2022, at St. Francis de Sales at 10:00 am, with inurnment to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Charity of Choice, would be greatly appreciate by the family.
