The family of Jared Douglas Logan is deeply saddened to announce his unexpected passing on August 3, 2016. Jared celebrated his 33rd birthday on July 4 with family, sharing his favourite meal of steak and potatoes. He was a loving son to Suzanne Villeneuve-Fitch and David Fitch, Jerry Logan and Paule Gauthier. His brother Cody will miss him more than words can say. Jared is once again with his big brother Joshua, who predeceased him in July 1996.
During his young life, Jared played football, baseball, soccer and loved to snowboard on the steepest hills. One of his greatest joys was cooking for family and friends, and his recipe for fettuccini alfredo was the bomb.
Jared will be dearly missed by all who knew him including his many aunts, uncles, cousins and stepbrothers but he will be especially missed by uncle Mike and aunt Patsy Cameron, and uncle Jack Logan. Outgoing and likeable, Jared was the kind of man that anyone would be proud to call son, grandson or friend. He saw the good in everyone, he loved and is loved.
The family will be in attendance at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES EAST BRANCH 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday August 11, 2016 in Precious Blood Church, Glen Walter at 11 a.m.
In Jared’s memory, donations can be made to the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health.
The family is grateful to the families and friends who continued to love, care and support Jared despite his illness.
"Do what’s right and do what’s good. Be kind and help others. The world can always use one more kind person. Pay it forward in memory of Jared, who left us much too soon.”
