MacPHERSON - McMARTIN, James – (Retired City of Cornwall Employee) - At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday April 7, 2017. He was 78. He leaves his loving wife of 52 years, Sheila Vivian (Lafave) McMartin. Dear father of Jennifer Lynn Fry (Robert). Sadly missed by 2 grandchildren, Grayson and Andrew. Also survived by one brother Jack McMartin (Darlene) and 4 sisters, Betty Chaput (Lloyd), Eileen Bingley (late Wayne), Helen Fetterly (Bill), Marlene Zigler (late Oscar). Predeceased by his parents, Alexander MacPherson and Roberta (Feek) McMartin his step-father, Henry McMartin, and 3 brothers, Donald (Ellie), Norman (Mary) and Harry McMartin (Julie). Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Wednesday from 9:30am – 11:15am. Funeral Mass, Wednesday April 12, 2017 at St. Columban’s Catholic Church at 11:30am. Rite of Committal, Notre Dame Cemetery.
