Jacqueline Wilkins

Marie Jacqueline (Jackie) Felicie Wilkins was born in 1924 in Montreal and died peacefully on 25 May, 2023, at the age of 99 and only a few days after her 75th wedding anniversary to Leonard John MacDonald, who she now joins, along with her daughter Joey, husbands Gerry Berlinguette and Jim Wilkins, her Mom and Dad, Jeanne and Leo Duberges and her grandson, Donald. Jackie is survived by two children, Laurie and Scott and his wife, Debbie, 16 grandchildren (Bonnie, John, Rebecca, Natalie and Matthew, Elizabeth, Barry, Kevin and Phil, and Kyle and Adam, Christine, Cathy, Michael and Chantal) and their partners, and 23 great grandchildren. As a young girl Jackie travelled across Canada with her parents, from Montreal to Vancouver. Jackie was loved by three good men, raised three children, was strong, caring and kind to all. She lived well and will missed by all who remember her. She will never be forgotten while her legacy lives on in our memories. Rest well, until we see you again.

Thank you to the staff of the Palace in Alexandria who provided a level of care and commitment for which there are no adequate words and to my sister, Laurie, who also cared for Mom these last few years. Thanks also to her many friends and family who enriched Jackie’s life with love, laughter and support.
