MONTROY, Irene Amelia (Michaud) – Surrounded by her loving family at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday July 5, 2018. She was 84. Loving wife of the late Harry Montroy. Cherished mother of John Horton (Andrea), Robert Horton (Sheena), and Peter Horton (Stacey). Loving Nanny of Tanis, Abel, Sabra, Jarek, Courtney, and grandmother of, Racheal, Megan, Dylan, Shane, and Natalie. Survived by 5 sisters, Amy Tessier (Roger), Dora McElhone (Ron), Yvonne Vivarais (Fern), Hilda Lapensee (late Henry), Theresa Demontigny (late Steve) and 2 brothers, Rheal Michaud (Carol) and Claude Michaud (Linda) and many nieces and nephews. Irene will be sadly missed by Paul & Marc and all of her friends. Predeceased by her parents, John and Pearl (Gaines) Michaud and 2 sisters, Simone Lalonde (Aldege), Lucille Hance (late Daniel), 2 brothers, Raymond Michaud and Maurice Michaud (late Jackie). Friends and family will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Thursday from 9:30-11 am followed by a chapel service at 11am. Rite of Commital to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations (by cheque) to the Arthritis Foundation, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Winchester District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
