GAREAU, Gladys Edith (née Ryan) – Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. Gladys Edith Gareau of Williamstown; age 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Guy “John” Gareau. Loving mother of Larry Gareau (Elaine), Patsy St. Pierre (Jean), John J. Gareau (Andrea), Debbie Charlebois (Yvon), Kathie Chatterton (Gary) and Gayle Reichwein. Cherished grandmother of Wanda, Lori, Steven, Renée, Sarah, Adam and Dean. Great grandmother of 9. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Eva (née Curriere) Ryan. Also predeceased by her siblings Lester Ryan, Patrick Ryan, George Ryan, Bernice Lapierre, Estelle “Maggie” Lavoie and Dorothy Ryan Pudden. Gladys will be missed by many family and friends. Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOME, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 and from 9:30 a.m. until time of Service on Thursday. Funeral Service will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Followed by Cremation.
