ARCHAMBAULT, Gilles – after his courageous battle with cancer three cherished daughters wish to announce the peaceful passing of their loving father on Tuesday April, 14, 2020 at his residence. Gilles Archambault of Cornwall; age 70. Loving father of Danielle Archambault (Rod Lalonde) of St. Andrews, Sherry Brownlee (Jeff) and Shelley Archambault (Yvon Menard) both of Cornwall. Proud grandfather of Magen and Brittany Archambault, Justice Brownlee, Letisha and Brianna Archambault, and great grandpa of Marcus Archambault and two on the way. Dear brother of Gerald Archambault (Helen), Monique Archambault, Lisette Legue (the late Nelson), Ghislaine Archambault (Glen), Annette Portieous (Barry) and Carmen Willard (Clarence) all of Cornwall. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Dear son of the late Patrick Archambault and the late Thérèsa (neé Vachon). Predeceased by his siblings Andre, Henry and infant sister Denise Archambault. Gill was an avid hunter, fisherman and will be sadly missed by many friends and family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL HOMES WEST BRANCH 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482). A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at the R.C.A.F. 240 Water Street West from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
