Gérald "Gerry" Givogue

Gerry leaves behind his loving wife and partner of 18 years Mary Burliuk Holt, and his children Tara, Greg (Erin) and Amy (Andrew). Beloved Papere to Charlotte, Lily, Mia, George, Elizabeth, Julia and Alicia. Dear son of the late Adolphe and Marie-Anne Givogue. Loving brother to Roger, Maurice, Thérèse, Yolande (Georges), Jeannette, Aline (Yvon), Raymond (Valerie), Paul (Beatrice), Alcide, Marcel (Gisèle), Lise, and Diane (Dan), and sister in law Sonia.

Predeceased by his son-in-law Rob, his brothers Danny, and Lionel, sister Pauline, and brothers’ and sisters’-in-law Hazel, Gloria, Gilles, Bob, and Mary. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Gerry was a machinist by trade and inventor at heart. He was an avid flyer for over 45 years, and a member of the Cornwall Flying Club. In his retirement he enjoyed travelling with Mary, and spending his winters in Florida.

Arrangements under the care and direction of Lahaie and Sullivan West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall, ON.

A celebration of life will be held on April 6th, 2024 from 1-4 pm with a ceremony at 2pm at R.C.A.F.A. Wing 424, 240 Water Street W. Cornwall ON. He will be interred at Notre Dame Cemetery.
