My papa. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. You were my favourite person ever growing up. You filled my childhood with magic and fun. I remember swimming in the pool during the hot summer, going to the mall and taking silly pictures with the digital camera you got me, spending weekends at the campsite and our endless lunch dates. I always loved the time I got to spend with my grandfather. It makes me sad to think our relationship suffered as I grew older and moved away. I wish there was time to mend it. It’s almost 2 years later and I wear your Harley jacket almost everyday, and your t shirts serve as a sense of comfort to me. I will never forget what a wonderful grandpa you were to me, the best any little girl could ask for. Thank you for making me feel fearless for the first time in my life on the back of your Harley. Happy birthday <3

Garry you were like a brother to me always being there when I need someone to talk to. You are dearly missed and loved

Garry was my neighbour and best friend for the last 6 years. He always had time for me when I needed a break from life or a smile put on my face.  We mostly played cards and occasionally had a few drinks. I would even go listen to him play at the moose lodge. If I heard music coming through my floor I would go down to his place to enjoy listening to him play his guitar and sing occasionally try and sing along.  He was and always will be loved by my family my girls thought of him as an uncle. He will be dearly missed but always loved and remembered. 

Garry was my neighbour and best friend for the last 6 years. He was there for me when I needed a distraction from life or a smile put on my face. We spent our time mostly playing cards occasionally having a few drinks. He was and always loved by me and my family. My girls thought of him as an uncle. This is a great lose and he will be missed deeply.

Our deepest sympathy to Garry's family.  Our prayers are with you at this difficult time. I have so many heartfelt memories of the years we made trips to Alexandria to see my grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.  May you rest in peace dear cousin.

When Gary would come to my place of work to do maintenance, he would tell everyone how he saved my life when I was 3 or 4 years old. 
I was in the family pool and got trapped underwater by a life jacket! He pulled me out.
