JOHNSTON, Ford Alexander- At Hospice Cornwall on Tuesday February 19, 2013. He was 86. Beloved husband and best friend for 62 years to Pearl (Alguire) Johnston. Son of the late William and Lulu (Cummings) Johnston. Survived by siblings, Glen (late Inez) of Brampton, Lyall (Laura) of Cornwall, Stewart (Stella) of Brockville, Eileen (late Ford Dingwall) of Ingleside and Norma Johnston of Whitecourt, AB. Survived by many nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lorna and Jack White of North York. Special uncle to Dorothy, Gary, Glen and their families and close friends, Albert and Monique Quenneville. Predeceased by siblings, Leslie(Betty), Arthur (Noreen), Eric, Wallace, Leila Gilchrist and Betty Johnston. Friends will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Friday from 7 – 9pm and on Saturday from 1pm until time of service. Funeral Saturday February 23, 2013 in the chapel of the funeral home at 2pm. Committal in the spring at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
