Proud grandfather of Penny (Ken), Jamie (Georgia), Malcolm (Mindy), Ryan (Leigha), Corey, Christopher, Justin, Casie (Ashton), Carrie, Jessie (Lee Anne) and Danica.
Treasured great grandfather of Corey, Tyler, Joe, Porsche, Rebecca, Michael, Wyatt, Zachary, Owen, Beckham, Bryer, Dakota, Hailie, Bentley and Nash. He also will be missed by his 5 great-great grandchildren.
Doug leaves behind his brother Floyd (Jeannine) Bergeron, and his two sisters Lillian Martel and Sister Rita Bergeron. Along with his in-laws Lois Bergeron, Rose Leroux (Donald) of Calgary, Darlene Leroux of Brockville, Jacqueline Lavry (Gilbert) of Belleville, Lucille Seguin and Claudette Kaddie along with his family friend Bev Ceasor.
He is predeceased by his parents Duncan and Elsie (née Fisher) Bergeron, as well as his siblings; Jimmy, Albert, Henry, Gordon, Lloyd, Alfred, Percy, Eleanor Leroux, Margaret Pier, and Helen Kaddie.
Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) on Thursday November 3, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Friday from 8:00 am to 9:00 am. Mass of Christina Burial in St. Peter’s Church at on Friday November 4, 2022 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Nativity Parish Cemetery.
