Claire Longtin

LONGTIN, Claire – With deep sadness we announce the passing of Claire D. Longtin (née Laplante) on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife of Gerald Longtin. Loving mother of Mathew Longtin (Susan Smalldridge), Steven Seguin (Kristin), Kevin Longtin, Jason Seguin (Bonnie Marshall), Amanda Longtin (Patrick Sauve) and to her chosen daughter, Suzie Viau. Cherished Nanna of Chace Seguin and Hayden White and Memere of Gabriel Longtin. Dear daughter of the late Francis and the late Georgette (née Marion) Laplante. Sister of Jeannette Lauzon and Raymond Laplante. Predeceased by her infant daughter Lisa and by brothers, Maurice and Ronald Laplante. She will be missed dearly by her nieces and nephews. Resting at LAHAIE AND SULLIVAN, CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, WEST BRANCH, 20 Seventh St. West (613-932-8482) Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 2 pm – 4 pm and 7pm – 9 pm and on Thursday from 9:30 am until time of Funeral Mass. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Félix de Valois Church on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 11 am followed by interment at Notre Dame Cemetery.
