My sincere condolences to Hy’s family. It is an honour to have spent quality and always memorable time with him. Years ago, Hy sailed with Larry and me in our little boat.  Going 6 knots on Lac St-Louis, he looked up at the white sail spanking against the blue sky and - with that grin of his - burst into song. He wrote it down for us in the logbook.  Here it is, with his typical flourish.

Tribute to Hy💕

Last week, we said goodbye to an extraordinary soul who touched the hearts of everyone he encountered. Hy was more than just a cousin; he was a beacon of love and joy in our lives. His spirit was larger than life, and his zest for living was contagious.

Hy had an incredible ability to connect with people, and his kindness knew no bounds. He lived each day to the fullest, embracing every moment with an infectious enthusiasm. His generous nature and caring demeanor endeared him to his family and friends, and his joyous spirit left an everlasting impact on all of us.

No gathering was complete without Hy’s presence, as he was the life of every party. If you had the privilege of meeting him once, you were sure to remember him forever. He had a way of making everyone feel special, and he held a special place in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him intimately.

Though life may not have always been perfect for Hy, he faced both ups and downs with an unwavering determination to enjoy life to the fullest. His resilience and positivity in the face of challenges were truly admirable.

As I come to terms with Hy’s passing, I find solace in the beautiful memories he has left behind. I extend my love and deepest condolences to  Anna Lisa, Reva an family and  Phil and family as well as to Terri and Cindy. Hy’s love for his family was evident, and he cherished each moment spent with them.

In our hearts, Hy will forever remain an inspiration. He taught us the value of cherishing life’s precious moments and spreading love wherever we go. Let us honor his memory by embracing life with the same joy and passion he demonstrated so beautifully.

Rest in peace, dear Hy. Your memory will forever shine brightly in our hearts.

Wonderful Memories of Hy and myself picking out  urchin needles out of another vacationers foot in Negril Jamaica. Hy never hesitated to help a stranger. A gentleman of the first order and will always have my undying respect! Rest Well my Brother!

So sad to hear you have left us Hy....my fave buddy on the slopes of Jay Peak as you showed me how you skied with your very elaborate knee brace to keep up with us all!  Your kind heart and hugs still mean so much to me during some very tough years back then.  RIP ...love you!💕
