Brian Sturgeon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of our dear beloved Father, Brian Joseph Sturgeon, who passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Loving father of Todd Sturgeon of Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, and Jason Sturgeon of Bowmanville. Beloved grandfather of Joe Sturgeon and Emily Sturgeon-Strapps (father Todd), and Andrew, Nathan, Megan, Sarah, and Heather Sturgeon (father Jason). Good friend of Lise Bazinet-Montpetit. Dear brother of Colleen Ratelle. Brian was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Peter’s parish in Cornwall. Brian will be missed by many friends and family. He is predeceased by his parents Eric Sturgeon and Mayme (Sauve) and his brothers George and Wayne, and sister Heather. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of M. JOHN SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 341 Pitt Street (613-938-1039) across City Hall. The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, September 8, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter's Parish on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Columban’s Cemetery (11th Street West) will follow the Mass at approximately 12:00 p.m.
