Bonnie is survived by her children and step-children, Mickey Delormier (Francis Senecal), Karlee Bigtree (Zane Gray), John Skidders, David Terrance (Samantha Nolan) all of Akwesasne and Jenna and Jacob Goulet of Cornwall.
She will be missed by her twelve grandchildren; Aidyn, Avah, Ayana, Akaia, Abel, Mayvis, John, Jayden, CJ, Arson, Kenzley and Denali.
Bonnie is survived by five sisters, Janice (Harvey) Herne, Marlene Thompson, Darlene (Roy) Benedict, Renee (Bennett) King and Peggy Lazore; two chosen sisters, Kim David and Dari Gibson, one chosen brother, Alexis Delormier and many nieces and nephews. Beloved godchild of Harriet Jackson and Kenneth Thompson and beloved godmother of Jordan Lazore.
Predeceased by her parents Douglas and Felicia Thompson and one brother Douglas “Bucky” Thompson Jr.
Bonnie loved spending time with her grandchildren, riding and walking around town, doing her diamond art projects and was always willing to open her heart and home to anyone. Bonnie always had a soft spot for her nieces and nephews especially her greats.
She recently achieved a seat on the Committee of the Unity Street Help Association and on the day prior to her passing she passed out dinners to the homeless in Cornwall, her big heart was unmatched.
Bonnie will be remembered for her crazy attitude and how she grabbed life by the balls, she’ll always be remembered as Bonnie “The Rebel Without a Cause” named by her nephew Alexander Delormier.
Resting at her late parents' house at 35 Wishe Delormier Rd, Cornwall Island, with visitation to begin on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022 at 2PM to Friday, July 15th 11AM. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am at the homestead.
