PAUL, Blanche – It’s with great sadness to announce the passing of Blanche Irene Paul (nee Quesnel), she passed away peacefully on February 9, 2013, at the Janet MacDonell Pavillion. Daughter of the late John Quesnel, and the late Agnes Lacelle. Beloved wife of the late Jean Paul. Cherished sister of Jeannette Filion (late Aurele), Simone Leduc (late Gerard). Predeceased by two sisters Lillian O’Neil (Frank), Leila Socque (late Victor) and by three brothers, Rheal, Roland (late Denise), and Andre. Will be forever missed by her loving nieces and nephews, as well as her great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews, and her late husband’s family, the Paul’s. Her career started as an employee of the Canada Cotton Mill until closing, then The Canada Bread Store. Blanche was a kind, caring, loving and giving person, who enjoyed gardening, her family, and enjoyed sharing memories of her life, and her parents. She was a great babysitter for her great nieces Jennifer and Stephanie and enjoyed every minute of it. Although she had no children, she played a big part in her family’s childrens lives. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West (613-932-8482) from 2 P.M. on Monday. Funeral, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese Church at 2 P.M. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will be in attendance on Monday, February 11, 2013 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time of Funeral. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, and the Canadian Liver Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
