Annette Guindon

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on January 17, 2017. Annette Guindon (nee St. Denis) of Cornwall; aged 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Omer (May 18, 2005). Dear mother of Gérald (Lynn), Georgette Lecompte (Robert), Fern (Darleen), Thérèse Godfrey (Paul), Pauline Dixon (the late Lyle), Claudette MacDonald (Brian), and Paul Emile (Christine). Grandmother of fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, three step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Godmother of Roger Lecompte and Ghislaine Guindon. Daughter of the late Onesime and Alvina (nee Malbeuf) St. Denis and predeceased by 9 sisters, 2 brothers and 1 great-grandchild Kenzie Guindon.

A special thank you to the staff at St. Joe’s Continuing Care Centre (McNeil Ward) for their kind and compassionate care of our mom, to Dr. Patel for his excellent care, to Father Dumoulin for his prayers, for her niece Jeanette Tyo who will miss her very much and to her special friend Mrs. Leona Hurtubise from St. Joe’s.

Resting at the Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (933-2841) on Sunday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Monday, January 23, 2017 for Mass of Christian Burial in Ste-Thérèse de Lisieux Church at 11 a.m. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery.
