Funeral Services for William C. “ Bill “ Utley, 88, are set for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday December 21, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Dixon officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth National Cemetery.
Mr. Utley died Friday December 17th. 2010 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born on Friday, July 14, 1922 to the late Velmer and Nellie Robinson Utley in Mississippi. He served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp where he was a decorated Staff Sergeant and fought in WWII. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church while living in Memphis, TN. After moving to Corinth he attended Church of the Crossroads. He retired from the American Greeting Card Company as a Sales Rep.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Blondell Utley, four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by two sons, Mike Utley and his wife Jenny of Dublin, OH and Larry Gene Utley and his wife Vickie of Horn Lake, MS; one brother, Vernon Utley of Heth, AK; three sisters, Ruth Randolph and her husband Sonny of Phoenix, AZ, Betty Smith and her husband Joel of Wynn, AK, Joann Copeland and her husband John of Saulsbury, TN; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation is 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. on Monday December 20th and from 9:00 A.M. till service time on Tuesday.
