William “Bill” Russell Kramer, 46, of Corinth, MS. died on Sunday February 24, 2013 at his home. He was born May 18, 1966 in Dover, N.J. to Bill and Louise Kramer. He graduated from Henderson County High School, KY where he received all state football honors. Bill attended the University of Evansville prior to enlisting in the U.S. Army. During his military service, he completed two tours in Germany and was a veteran of Desert Storm. He was employed by Kimberly Clark for 20 years and most recently served as a distribution leader at the Professional Mill in Corinth and served as a deacon at First Presbyterian Church. Bill never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was a very dedicated supporter of Corinth High School softball and took pride in their state championship last fall. He was an avid New York Giants football and University of Kentucky basketball fan.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa and his daughter Bailee, who was the apple of his eye, his father Bill Kramer his wife Debra of Henderson, KY., brother Scott Kramer his wife Penny of Owensboro, KY, sisters Kellye Durrance her husband Chris of Nortonville, KY, Jenny Stansfield her husband Bret of Macon, GA. Megan Kramer of Norfolk, VA. Nieces and nephews Joey and Paige Kramer, Courtney and Chase Durrance, Emily and Ruth Stanfield. His maternal grandmother Bonnie Burgett Baize of Earlington, KY., his very special extended family in Oklahoma and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Don Elliott officiating and Hank Barrett doing the eulogy. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville, KY.
Pallbearers Scott Kramer, Milton Nash, Robert Davis, Willie Gates, Danny Christian, Brett Grantham, Gregg Parker, Orma Smith, Grover Hardin.
