Funeral services for Willa Dean Fowler Briggs, 84, are set for 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Acton, Tn.

Ms. Briggs died Tuesday May 7, 2013 in Springfield, Tn.Ms. Briggs was a retired CNA. Before moving to Springfield she was a member of Acton Church of Christ. She is a member of Main Street Church of Christ, she enjoyed making and collecting dolls, reading, sewing and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband Otis Lee Fowler, parents: Otto and Lora Hubbard, brothers: O.D. Hubbard and Doise Hubbard, Sisters: Veda Hogue, Faye Dials and an infant sister: Inez Hubbard

She is survived by her daughters: Debora (Sam) King of Springfield, Tn. and Linda (Steve) Bryant of Whitehouse, Tn. Grandchildren: Sam King, Jr., April (Stephen) Webb, Scott (Monica) King, Kristin Vandiver, 4 great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 on Thursday and continue until service time at 2:00 p.m.
