Thomas Todd Wilbanks

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Thomas Todd Wilbanks, 47, are set for Sunday at 2:00 pm at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors with Bro. Ralph Culp officiating. Burial will be in Henry Cemetery.

Thomas Todd died March 15, 2015 in St. Petersburg, FL. Todd was born June 10, 1968 in Corinth, MS to Thomas Edward and Peggy Voyles Wilbanks. He graduated from Kossuth High School and attended North East MS Community College and Holmes Jr. College where he majored in business. He worked as an accountant manager for Marriot and Mid State Roofing in Jackson, MS before moving to Coldwater, FL to pursue real estate. Todd loved the beaches in Florida and traveled to many of them. He was an excellent chef and loved to grill. His many hobbies included going to the gym, running, exploring the internet for new knowledge, reading, music, flowers and gardening. Thomas Todd was known for his big smile and belly laughs. He was a strong arm for his mother and sister after his father’s death; rising up to be the wings of the eagle.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G.B. Voyles and Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt Wilbanks; aunt, Kathryn Barnes Voyles; uncle, Scotty Ray Voyles.

Along with his mother; Peggy Voyles Wilbanks he is survived by his sister, Tena (Daniel) Wooldridge, Jackson, MS; nephew, Joshua T. Johnson, Austin TX; great niece, Sayd Grace Johnson, Austin, TX; uncles, Bobby Joe Voyles, Corinth, MS, John B. (Myra) Voyles, Sturbridge, MA; cousins, Jennifer Voyles Taylor, Huntsville, AL, Caitlin Voyles, Jackson, MS, Michael Joe Voyles, Pickwick, TN, Jason B. Voyles, Alexandria, VA, Kevin Chad Voyles, Nashville, TN; family, Mrs. Dimple Caldwell family, Mrs. Paul Heavner family, Mrs. Johnnie Rast family, Mr. & Mrs. Hershell Epperson family, Mr. & Mrs. Troy Hardin family, Mr. & Mrs. Butch Dendy.

Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until service time Sunday.
