Thomas Davis

A Celebration of Life Service for Thomas Henry Davis, 78, is set for 2:00 pm Monday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Hodum and Bro. Levi Burcham officiating. Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.

A family and friends gathering will be Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Monday from 12:00 to service time.

Thomas died April 4, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born February 24, 1947 in Alcorn Co. to the late Charles and Josie Davis. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Thomas was a retired paintner and tile layer. He enjoyed collecting knives, guns, hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joshua Davis; and infant sister, Mary Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judy Davis; son, Thomas Davis, Jr.; daughter, Shellie Hastings; sisters, Ann Davis, Clara Fair (Paul); grandchildren, Bradley Hastings (Hailey), Byron Hastings (Katie); great grandchildren, Parker, Paxton and Journey; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brain Fair, Charles Woods, Keith Hodum, Caden Allen, Randy Norris, and Junior Woods.
