To Lee and Linda,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your Mother. I think you both know how much she always meant to me. She was a great lady who played an important role in my life. I can only imagine how many other lives she touched in such a positive way. Whether it was attending a Cub Scout meeting, church, being invited to join the family for a meal, or having an attitude adjustment with a switch from the famous "switch bush" in the backyard, Thelma taught me the importance of living a righteous life.
She always exemplified the traits that made her a role model for many. She instinctively knew how to keep me and Lee on the straight and narrow as we matured. She and R.L., whom I always greatly respected, gave me memories I will cherish my entire life.
Thelma was a great mother, wife, grandmother and great grandmother. She took great pride in her friends and family. I will remember her always.

Linda and Lee,

As we age, we often think back on the good times and people that impacted our lives. Your mother was one of those people for me. Your father was as well but I will always appreciate the many things your mother did for me. They are too numerous to mention. From bandaging me up, to feeding me a great southern meal and alot of things in between. 

Rush Limbaugh said it best. Their two types of people in this world and only two: Givers and Takers. Your mother was a true giver all her life and it showed to me and the many others she touched. I am glad she was able to live such a long and productive life. I am glad I was able to visit her these last few years. She was truly part of my "root system" and I will always keep fond memories of her.

I know you must be saddened at this time but there is no doubt that Thelma has entered into Glory. That is a praise indeed!

I will hold her in my heart forever!

To the (Mee-Maw T) McAllister Family,
I would like to thank all of you for the friendship you have shown to me during this very trying time for everyone. I feel very honored and proud to be called family by you. Mee-Maw T was a very dear friend to me and we shared this friendship for many years. 

We met when our kids were little and always enjoyed talking about the very funny experiences they had growing up in Corinth. Lee and Mike have been best friends since they were four years old. All of our kids (Lee, Linda, Mike & Bruno) still recall the good times they had as children, including their experiences with R. L. (Dick), who they also loved so much.

I will always cherish the opportunity I had to enjoy dinner with Mee-Maw T, Lee and Sue on the last Thursday of Mee-Maw T's wonderful life. It was a joyous last time together with Mee-Maw T. She was my dear friend and I will also remember her and miss her very much. I will keep her in my heart for the rest of my life.

Linda and Lee - My sympathy and prayers go out to you and your families at the death of your dear mother. I remember your mother with such fondness, from the sweet things she did for my mother, what a good cook she was, sharing recipes with my mom, and making me a beautiful terrycloth robe to take with me off to college. I always enjoyed visiting your parents. I am so sad to hear of her passing. Let not your heart be troubled (John 14:1) for He will not leave you comfortless (John 14:18). She will be missed but you will have a chance to reunite with her one day.

I was saddened to hear of Thelma's passing.  My son and I loved her very much.  We often sat behind Thelma in Church on Sunday Mornings and enjoyed talking with her before the services. She always had a wonderful smile that brightened my day.  She will be missed.
