Susan Young

A service to celebrate the life of Susan Young, 69, will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Filmore St. Chapel with burial to follow in Henry Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time at the chapel. Rev. Kim Ratliff and Rev. Elizabeth West will officiate the service and Arch Bullard will deliver the eulogy.

Susan passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the North MS Medical Center. She was born on July 5, 1954 to the late James “Buddy” and Sue Crow. She was a 1972 graduate of Corinth High School and attended Northeast Community College. She was the office manager and executive secretary in the District Attorney's office in the First Circuit Court District for over 30 years. She was a member of First Methodist Church. Susan enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach.

She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, John R. Young; daughter, Ashley Perry (Jason) of Philadelphia, MS; granddaughter, Alli Grace Perry; brother, Jim Crow (Julie) of Hendersonville, NC; sister, Sharon Mainers of Jackson, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James “Buddy” and Sue Crow.
