Shirley died on Saturday November 10, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born on November 1, 1941 in Prentiss County to the late Jake and Junie Ross. She was a 1961 graduate of Thrasher High School. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was a strong Christian lady who loved her family.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Garrett; daughter, Debbie Garrett; grandsons, Brandon Tucker, Lee and Adam Garrett; granddaughters, Starr Lively (Drake), Tiffany Kennedy, Sandy Blackard, Tamera Essary, Sheena Bradley and Seritha Coombs; great-grandchildren, Ethan Lane, Jake Rylee, and Brandon Elijah Tucker, Brantley Lively; sisters, Rita Grimes and Joyce Fugitt (James); daughter-in-law’s, Sue Tucker and Laura Tucker; sister-in-law’s, Geraldine Ross, Diane Ross, Betty Wilson (Paul); great-niece and nephew, Jaila and Jake Walden and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Junie Ross; husband, Bill Garrett; sons, James Keith Tucker, Timothy Tucker and Ronnie Garrett; daughter, Pam Essary; brothers Jim and Benny Ross; brother-in-law, Curtis Grimes; sister-in-law, Norma Carter.
Bro. Dale Ross will officiate the services.
