

Mr. Worsham was born on Nov. 27, 1941, to Dorothy Hess Worsham and Frank Worsham, Jr. He was associated with Worsham Brothers, a construction company founded by his father and his father’s two brothers, Clifford and Leroy Worsham. He worked with Worsham Brothers for 47 years, his entire working career. He was serving as president of the company at the time of his death.
Mr. Worsham was active in all aspects of the community. He was a past president and Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. He served on the board of directors of Magnolia Regional Health Center for 24 years, including a term as president. He was also a past president of the local Boys and Girls Club.
He was a past director of the Chamber of Commerce (The Alliance). His college was The University of Mississippi where his love and loyalty remained throughout his lifetime. He served on the board of the University of Mississippi Alumni Association, and was a life member. He loved his Ole Miss fraternity, Sigma Chi, and remained close to his Sigma Chi brothers.
He was a life-long member of First Presbyterian Church in Corinth, and served on the Board of Deacons. His experience while earning the ranks of Eagle Scout and God and Country later aided him in his duties as scoutmaster of the Boy Scout troop at the church.
Bobby faced his battle with cancer just as he faced life: optimistic, positive and cheerful. He had the unique ability to brighten any room he entered, whether at a party, at church or at chemo sessions.
Bobby had a great love for his family. He is survived by his son, Hayden Worsham and Hayden’s wife, Whitney; four grandchildren, Hayden, Priestley, Prentiss and Kate Madden; one niece, Allen Worsham Bradford (Bill); four nephews, Ben Worsham, Mac Worsham, Wesley Worsham (Holly), and Jeremy Glidewell; sister in law, Debbie Worsham; and two uncles, Leroy Worsham, of Corinth and Frank Hess of Virginia; as well as numerous cousins.
Mr. Worsham was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Frank Worsham Jr; his daughter, Hess Worsham; his brother, Hank, with whom he worked closely for 40 years; and a sister-in-law, Mollie McAmis Worsham.
Bobby had a great love for people and they loved him back. His charisma drew people to him and he did not treat their friendship lightly.
Pallbearers are Eddie Gatlin, Hull Davis, Joe Vann, Kenneth Williams, Kenneth Hill, Bob Davis, Vic Etheridge, Glennan Grady, Bob Krohn, David Palmer, Bernie Shipp, Tommy Sweat, Jody Crisswell and Joe Ragusa.
Memorial contributions may be made to the following: First Presbyterian Church Youth Ministry, Boy Scouts of America or the American Kidney Foundation.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 5 until 7 p.m. at McPeter’s Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Corinth and will be officiated by the Rev. Don Elliott and assisted by the Rev. Bill Bradford of Tupelo.
