Celebration of Life Service for Richard Wayne Goode, 64 are set for 1:00 pm Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Farmington Baptist Church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 11:00 am until service time.
Ricky loved spending time with his family, bible study, reading and writing about his Christian faith. He was a published author, writing a book about his thoughts and teachings of his bible studies. Rick was known for his quick wit, kind words and generous nature to his friends and family. He loved good food and would tell anyone who treated him with a tasty dish, it was the best he ever had. He will be missed greatly by all that knew him.
Mr. Goode was preceded in by his father Vernon Goode.
He is survived by his parents: David and Ruthie Goode Fleming; his children, Thomas, Michelle and Nicole Goode; brothers, Ron Goode, Doug Goode; sister, Sandra Wolfe and niece Brittany Wolfe.
