Patricia Diane Wood

Patricia Diane Wood, 76, of Corinth passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born April 14, 1947 to the late Buster Edo and Luetta Dunn Fowler. Patricia was a graduate of the "Class of 1965" from Alcorn Central High School. She was employed with The United States Postal Service for 24 years as a rural carrier until retirement. Patricia cherished her journey through life and loved her family and friends that she gathered along the way.

Patricia is preceded in death by her husband, Jack D. Wood; her parents; her paternal grandparents, Steve and Lillie Mae Smith; two brothers, Junior Lee "Red" Fowler and Jessie Fowler; and two sisters, Dorothy Wylie and Billie Sue Harden.

Patricia is survived by her children, Eddy Wood (Leslie) and Windy Yager (Miles); brothers, Wayne "Pee Wee" Fowler and Keith Fowler; sisters, Betty Joe James (Baxter) and Marilyn Albrecht; grandchildren, Bryce Wood, Lane Ross, Rainey Burress (Chapman), Kayley Wood, Jack Wood, and Weston Yager; a great-grandchild, Wyatt Ross; a special cousin, Carolyn McKinney; special friend, Sarah Eaton; and a host of extended family and friends.

There is a Celebration of Life Service scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at McPeters Funeral Directors beginning at two o'clock in the afternoon with Bro. James Voyles officiating. The family will start receiving friends, Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at five o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening, and on Wednesday from one o'clock in the afternoon until service time.
