Ollie Wilbanks

A Celebration of Life Service for Ollie V. Wilbanks, 90, will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors with Bro. Charles Stephenson officiating. Burial will be in the Wheeler Grove Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 pm to service time.

Ollie died September 23, 2022 at MS Care Center. She was born May 16, 1932 to the late John and Ella Martin. She was a graduate of Glendale High School and a homemaker. Ollie was a longtime member of South Corinth Baptist Church, where she played the organ and was on the decorating committee. She enjoyed playing bingo at MS Care Center and seeing her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Alva Wilbanks; a son, Ricky Wilbanks; great grandchild, Saddee Mae Wilbanks; and several brother and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Sarah Wilbanks; grandchildren, Brent Wilbanks (Suzie), Beth Price (Eric) and Brice Wilbanks (Anna); great grandchildren, Jake Wilbanks, Slayden Price, Sawyer Price, Millee Wilbanks and Harlee Jo Wilbanks; sister-in-laws, Alma Miller and Captolia Strickland; brother-in-law Gaylon Wilbanks (Willie); and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Brent Wilbanks, Brice Wilbanks, Eric Price, Jake Wilbanks, Slayden Price and Sawyer Price.
