Mildred Marie Hayes

Mildred Marie Hayes, 91, of Corinth passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka. She was born July 11, 1932, to the late Terry and Addie Searcy Burcham.

Ms. Hayes was a devout Christian and loved the Lord. She enjoyed watching her favorite television shows which included the daily soaps and every edition of Walker, Texas Ranger. She also enjoyed going to auctions and yard sales; searching for her favorite items.

Ms. Hayes is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Hayes; three children, George Hayes Jr., Greg Hayes and James Hayes; one grandchild, Jamie Hayes; two great grandchildren, Zaylor Pratt and Ashley Brown; and two brothers, Ray Burcham (Carolyn) and Lester Burcham (Idoma).

Ms. Hayes is survived by two children, Danny Hayes (Lynn) and Terry Hayes (Vicki); eight grandchildren, Janet Hayes, Cody Hayes, Randall Hayes, Hope Hayes, Leesa Hayes, Kayce Derrick, Danyel Smith, and Tyler Scott Hayes; two brothers, Leon Burcham (Clydean) and Bobby Burcham (Peggy); twenty-one great grandchildren; and eighteen great great grandchildren.

There is A Celebration of Life Service scheduled for Friday, May 3, 2024 at McPeters Funeral Directors beginning at three o'clock in the afternoon, with Bro. Warren Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at one o'clock in the afternoon until service time.
