Mike Smith

Services to celebrate the life of Mike Smith, 53, will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at McPeters Funeral Home with burial to follow in Juliette Cemetery. Bro. Cory Burcham and Bro. Jonathon Soden will officiate the services. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at McPeters.

Mike died on November 25, 2021 at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in Iuka on March 1, 1968. He was construction worker and truck driver until he was disabled. He loved riding his Harley, hunting and fishing, but most importantly being with his friends and family.

He is survived by his finance, Mia Rorie; mother, Patricia Rorie Smith; sister, Regina “Sissy” Chapman (Randy); nephew, Michael Lynn Smith; niece, Leighann Trigg; great niece and nephew, Averlyn and Keegan; and an uncle, Larry Smith (Sheliah).

He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Tebo Smith; his paternal grandparents, Bilbo and Helen Smith; maternal grandparents, J.W. and Charlene Rorie; step-grandmother, Shirley Rorie; and cousin Lynn J. Smith.
