A Celebration of Life Service for Mark Mathias Ivey, 61, is set for 11:00 am Saturday at Tate Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Trammel and Rev. Daniel Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia Garden.
Family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 to service time all at Tate Baptist Church.
Mark died May 31, 2023 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born March 8, 1962 in Huntsville, AL. He was a graduate of Johnson High School. He attended The University of Alabama and graduated from Athens State University with a B.S. in Business. Mark moved to Corinth in 1995 to manage Human Resource at CMC, and then became Human Resource Manager for Corinthian Furniture and West Fraser in Guntown respectively. Mark oversaw all staffing for the launch of Mississippi Silicon where he remained for three years. An active member of Tate Baptist Church, he was an avid Alabama fan and SEC football fan. Mark was passionate about travel and went on many adventures with his wife. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Ivey and Wanda Mathias Walters; his late wife and mother of his son, Kim Renfro Ivey.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Winters Ivey; sons, Ben Ivey (Brianna), Michael Moore; brother, Michael Ray Ivey; grandchildren, Jackson Ivey and Lorie Ivey; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
