Mr. Wilbanks was a devout member of Kossuth Baptist Church. He served this country as a Korean War Veteran for the United States Army and his community as a member of the Mississippi Highway Patrol for twenty-nine years until his retirement.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; his spouse, Barbara Shadburn Wilbanks; daughter, Shanda Leigh Wilbanks Albritton; brother Charles Wilbanks; and a nephew Keith Haygood.
Leroy is survived two sisters, Gail Williams (Joe) and Sue Haygood (Dan); brother, Neal Wilbanks (Janie); as well as a host of extended family and friends.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors is set for Wednesday, November 27, 2024 beginning at twelve o'clock noon at the Corinth National Cemetery with Bro. Keith Fields officiating. This will be a private family gathering.
