Mr. Chandler died on Monday, September 16th at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. He was born on February 2, 1920 in Adamsville, TN to the late George and Ethel Patterson Chandler. He was a Life Member of the VFW, the American Legion, served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He enjoyed spending time with his family and attending Beech Bluff Baptist Church where he was a member.
Along with his parents, Mr. Chandler was preceded in death by his two sisters, Orie and Dovie Chandler.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Betty Joyce Brown Chandler; two step-daughters, Janie Brasfield of Savannah and Bobbie Doran and husband Michael of Jackson; two step-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
