Lee Albert Mercer

Lee passed on January 13, 2016 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born on December 4, 1932 to the late Fonnie Lee and Ethel Pearl Mercer. He was a member of Hatchie Chapel Church and worked for Harmon Intl. for 33 years. He also farmed and loved to fish and hunt.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Mercer and sister, Olarhue Eubanks.

Lee is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Jimmie Sue Mercer; daughter, Shelly Johnson (Robert) of Corinth; sons, Ronald Lee Mercer (Teresa) and Deion Mercer (Rhonda) both of Walnut; his grandchildren, Michael Crum (Beth), Tawana Woodruff (Jason), Joseph Mercer (Beverly), Scott Mercer (Kayla) and Jordan Mercer. He also leaves behind 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held today from 5:00 p.m. until service time on Friday at Hatchie Chapel Church.
