Larry Dellinger
Funeral services for Larry Wayne Dellinger, 69, of Corinth, are set for 1 p.m. Monday at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Phillip Caples and the Rev. Ronnie Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Dellinger died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was a retired Body Shop Manager. He began his career with the Dellinger Body Shop and Wrecker Service. He was manager of the Dees Body Shop in Memphis. Serra Chevrolet Body Shop in Jackson, Tenn., was where he retired from. He returned to Corinth and enjoyed managing the Fish House.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dr. Gregory Dellinger; and his parents, Ira A. and Myra Dellinger.
Survivors include his wife, Paulette M. Dellinger of Corinth; his children, Michael Dellinger of Corinth, Trey Dellinger (Angie) of Jackson, Jimmy L. Switcher of Troy, Tenn., and Starr Richardson (Bill) of Corinth; daughter-in-law, Lupie Dellinger of Franklin, Tenn.; grandchildren, Melanie Mills (Ken), Natalie Dellinger, Michael Drew Dellinger (Susie), Andrew Dellinger, Reid Dellinger, Jack Dellinger, Jason Gunn, Kyle Gunn, Eric Switcher and Kaylee Switcher; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Otis Briggs, Troy Meeks, Elmer Meeks, Alvin Meeks, Mike Miller and Casey Castile. Honorary pallbearers will be the Domino players from the Fish House.
Visitation will be held from 3-5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
