Funeral service for Kenneth "Ken" Ray McAlpin, 57, are set for 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 28, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Minsters Charles Curtis and Blake Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow in the Forrest Memorial Park .
Mr. McAlpin died October 24, 2011 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born July 27, 1954 to the late Brodie and Mae Osborn McAlpin. He was a accountant having worked for Magnolia Regional Health Center and deptuy clerk for Travis Childers. He enjoyed hunting, where he belonged to the Lick Branch Hunt Club, and was also an avid Ole Miss fan. His greatest gift and love was his grandchildren, he loved spending time with them and his family. He was a member of Foote Street Church of Christ.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-In-law Estelle Spencer.
Survivied by his wife, Vicki McAlpin of Walnut, MS; one daughter, Brandy Killman and husband Rodney of Springfield, MO; one brother, Wayne McAlpin and wife Faye of Corinth, MS; one sister, Sandra Mcalpin of Corinth, MS; four grandchildren, Micaela and Kaleb Pardue, Blaine and Cameron Killman; one nephew, Dr. B. Wayne McAlpin; one niece, Page Brown and husband Rob along with their son Tucker, an uncle and aunt, William Ray and Winnie Osborn of Ramer, TN; his father-in-law, Leroy Spencer of Walnut, MS; his sister-in-law, Joy Cooper and her husband Joe of Walnut, MS; one brother-in-law Jacky Spencer and wife Donna of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces, nephews, and host of friends.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Taylor, Alan Massengill, Tommy Bain, Nick Bain, Mike Singleton, Rob Brown.
Kaleb Pardue, Cameron Killman, Blaine Killman, Tucker Brown and members of the Lick Branch Hunting Club will serve as honorary .
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 27th from 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and from 1:00 P.M. till service time on Friday.
