Jerry Borden

Funeral services for Jerry Borden 73, are set for 3:00 PM at McPeters Funeral Directors with Bro. Gary Hodum officiating. Burial with follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery.

Jerry died August 26, 2019 at North MS Medical Center. He was born august 23, 1946 to the late Kennie Clayton and Elsie Marie Davis Borden. He was a retired electrician, was of Cherokee descent, having the name “Silver Hawk”.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ezra Borden; sisters, Imogene Floyd, Viola Floyd.

He is survived by his children, James Borden, Angela Stephens (Matthew), Delise Peebles (John); grandchildren Colby Borden, Amity Glover, Gracie Barnes (Scott), Duke Pebbles (Casey Smith); brothers, Norman Borden, Bobby Borden; sisters, Wanda Hodum, Linda Crum, Nadine Leatherwood, Joyce Tapp. Host of other family and friends.

Family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to service time.
