James Reed Allen

Celebration of Life Services for James Reed Allen 87, will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church, Bro. Shane Evetts and Bro. Steve Byrd officiating, interment will follow in Wheeler Grove Cemetery. James died Sunday September 9, 2018 in Corinth; he was a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer, he was an avid deer and coon hunter. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Mable Allen; his parents; Harry B. Allen and Ophelia Green Allen; brother, Lawrence Allen; sister, Barbara McDowell; son in law; Ricky Wilbanks, great grandson; Bo Bonds and great granddaughter Sadee Mae Wilbanks.

Survived by his daughters, Sandra Allen Bonds (Tommy), Sarah Allen Wilbanks; Grandchildren, Brian Bonds (Alanna) Byron Bonds (Crystal) Brad Bonds (Tara) Brent Wilbanks (Suzie) Beth Price (Eric) Brice Wilbanks (Anna); 9 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Jewel Leonard; brother-in-law, Richard (Shorty) Forman (Betty): Sisters-in-law, Evelyn Forman Switcher, Eva Forman Bright and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Brian Bonds, Byron Bonds, Brad Bonds, Brent Wilbanks, Brice Wilbanks, Eric Price

Honorary Pallbearers will be his great grandsons; TY Bonds, T.J. Bonds, Jake Wilbanks, Slayden Price, Sawyer Price

Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. Monday Night at Wheeler Grove Baptist Church and 12:00 to service time Tuesday prior to services.
