Mrs Evelyn Ruth Glidewell

Funeral services for Evelyn R. Burkhalter Glidewell, 60, of Corinth, are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Tippah Shiloh Cemetery.

Mrs. Glidewell, a homemaker, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a Baptist and a member of the FVW Ladies Auxiliary Post 3962.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Flow Ella Burkhalter.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Glidewell of Corinth; a son, Lamar Glidewell (Kristi) of Corinth; two daughters, Karen Glidewell and Crystal Barnes (Barry), both of Corinth; brothers Johnny Burkhalter (Dorothy) and Wayne Burkhalter (Shelia) of Corinth; sisters Nora Switcher (Lonnie) of Corinth and Yvonne King of Montana; grandchildren Steven Glidewell (Jenny), Christopher Glidewell, Dustin Glidewell, and Brooklyn, Kaitlyn, Madalyn and Ashlyn Malone; and four great-grandchildren.

Bro. Carroll Talley will officiate.

Visitation is Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from 5 until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from noon until service time.
