Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00PM until 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Hall died on September 6, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Alcorn County on November 2, 1928 to the late John W.W. Hall and Ethel Mize Hall. He was a Christian and a faithful member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. He loved his family, his church, and the many people he met on the jobs he held over his lifetime. He worked several types of jobs but his favorite two were to drive a truck and to drive a newspaper route. He drove the truck so he could see the USA during his ten-year tenure as a long-haul truck driver. Then he retired from that to work for the Daily Corinthian twenty-two years. He only retired in his early eighties so he could provide constant care for his ailing wife.
Mr. Hall is survived by his daughters, Linda Brooks and husband R.M. and Elsie Robinson; grandchildren, Jeffrey Moreland and wife Cindy, Hailey Beardslee, Kaitlin Moreland, Billie Taylor, Michael Taylor and wife Melissa, Genia Robinson; great grandchildren, Sierra Thompson, Christian Thompson, Shane Brooks and wife Jenny, John Brooks, Nancy Kennedy, Sheena Fellie, Kyle Williamson and wife Olivia, Zachary Taylor, Zachary Gorski, Cameron Gorski, Kylee Brooks and Rylee Brooks, great-great grandchildren, Taylor Stewart, Dexter Beardslee, Emma Rose Thompson; step-sons, David Willis and wife Leann, Dan Willis and wife Barbara, Gilbert Willis, step-daughters; Sandra Downs, Kim Butler and husband Tim and all of their children and grandchildren. He also leaves behind a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie Davis Hall, second wife, Ethel Willis Hall and his siblings, Hollis, Willie, LeRoy, Hazel, Clyde, Wilma, and Annie Mae.
Bro. Jeff Haney, Bro. Donnie Davis and Willie Walker will officiate the services.
Arrangements are under the care of Memorial Funeral Home.
